LipoCoat is the first start-up to receive an investment from the Dutch Student Investment Fund. Jasper van Weerd, founder of LipoCoat was handed a symbolic money case by Neelie Kroes, Special Envoy StartupDelta. LipoCoat, co-founded by Marcel Karperien and Pascal Jonkheijm, is a high tech start-up that develops coatings for medical devices to improve the tissue response. LipoCoat is currently developing coating for contact lenses to improve wearers comfort.
