Rare birds on campus Bird excursion

A kingfisher skimming over a campus pond. A nesting blackbird in the tree in front of your student room. All sorts of birds can be found on our own campus, from a ‘common’ house sparrow to rare specimens. In this early morning one-and-a-half-hour excursion, Dr Rolf de By (UT, ITC) takes you to places where you can discover birds. Rolf de By is an enthusiastic birder and knows the campus like the back of his hand. We will go out in small groups while the birds sing and it gets light. If there is much interest, other bird experts will be called in.  With Green Hub.

Register via our website (link will soon be published) before 17 April. Cost: 5 euros (students), 10 euros (non-students). Proceeds go to Vogelbescherming Nederland (Bird Protection Netherlands).
