The Wild North Sea - Nature that cannot be tamed Film screening

In De Wilde Noordzee (The Wild North Sea), underwater filmmaker Peter van Rodijnen portrays the mysterious underwater world. A world so close, yet largely unknown. Inspired by explorer Jacques Cousteau, he dives into the Netherlands' largest nature reserve. He faces extreme conditions: powerful currents, murky water and violent storms. Yet he remains determined to uncover the secrets of this untamed nature. What begins as a search for large, iconic species like the basking shark, orca and tuna soon leads to a much deeper insight: the true power of the North Sea lies in its complete, interconnected ecosystem - from the smallest plankton to the largest shark. The film has already attracted over 150,000 visitors. For the trailer: www.dewildenoordzee.nl
