Studium Generale: Nobel lectures

The Nobel Prizes in Physics, Chemistry and Medicine are awarded every year in October. Curious what these prizes are about?  Join the annual Nobel Lectures organized by TNW and Studium Generale. Eminent scientists explain the prize-winning research. The lectures have become a tradition since 2007, with an impressive list of speakers: Herman ten Kate, Willem Vos, Gerard van der Steenhoven, Jurriaan Schmitz, Michel van Putten, Alexander Brinkman, Nathalie Katsonis and Marijke Gordijn to mention only a few.

This year: 

Dr. ir. Herman Offerhaus (TNW) will explain the Nobel Prize in Physics

Prof. dr. Dick Janssen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen) will explain the Nobel Prize in Chemistry

Dr. Leonie JM Mekenkamp (Medisch Spectrum Twente) will explain the Nobel Prize in Medicine

Moderator: prof. dr. ir. Gertjan Koster, associate professor Inorganic Material Science (UT)

Buffet: 17.00-18.00 hours

Lectures: 18.00-19.30 hours
