Given the importance of (tech) innovation and entrepreneurship in almost all organisations around the world, you will be in high demand on the job market as a BA graduate, specialised in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy (EIS). You could easily find work as a project manager, business manager or marketer, to name just a few of the many options. You can also start up your own business, like some of our former students have done. Or you can opt to further develop yourself by continuing with a PhD-programme.
Type of degree
When you have completed this Master's with the specialisation in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy, you will receive a Master’s degree in Business Administration and the title Master of Science (MSc). Your specialisation will be mentioned specifically on your diploma supplement, highlighting your specialised knowledge and skills in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy.
Job opportunities
As a graduate, specialised in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Strategy, you will be equipped to enter any area of business administration, not just those directly related to entrepreneurship, innovation or strategy. If anything characterises the careers EIS graduates embark on, it is the wide diversity of sectors and organisations they join. Whatever direction you choose, you and your colleagues and employer will benefit from your specialist knowledge and your broader understanding of business and management. You will easily integrate and communicate with multidisciplinary business teams – a quality employers highly value.
You could pursue a career in high-level consultancy, strategic research and development, management, policymaking, entrepreneurship or academic research. A vast majority goes on to become highly valued business consultants, marketers, business developers or project managers, contributing to broad improvements in innovation and entrepreneurship within internationally operating companies.

Continue as a researcher: obtain a PhD
Instead of pursuing a professional career right away after completing your Master’s degree, you can opt to follow a PhD programme at Twente Graduate School (TGS). This involves spending four years studying a particular research area in-depth at one of our research institutes. Obtaining your PhD earns you the title of Doctor (Dr).
Interested in doing a PhD? You can check below if there are any vacancies. If not, you can also send in an open application.
