Publication bachelor/master thesis

Students of the University of Twente can upload their bachelor's or master's thesis for graduation. Below you will find important information with regard to the publication of your bachelor/master thesis.

  • Current student theses repository
    • About

      The student thesis repository contains the full text theses of University of Twente graduates from various programmes, both bachelor and master. Quite a few graduate theses in this repository are publicly available. Copyright owner is the author or otherwise when indicated in the text of the thesis.

    • Procedure

      Students can fill out a form and upload their document. After a check by the University Library staff, the data entered together with the document will be visible in the portal of the UT Student Theses repository of the University of Twente. The uploader can indicate whether the full-text of the thesis should be publicly available (standard) or restricted. Students, tutors and the several offices for educational affairs will be informed about the upload.

  • New UT student theses repository

    The current Student Theses repository (essay.utwente.nl) will be replaced by a new UT Student Theses repository. In this repository, all Bachelor and Master theses can be securely stored and published publicly if desired. The current system is being replaced because it is end-of-life. Besides a more modern look, the new system offers a more user-friendly interface and a portal in which only public theses are published.

    The new Student Theses repository will be up and running from the new academic year.
