From Tuesday the 26th till Friday the 29th of October 2021, we celebrate our 70th anniversary with research seminars, invited speakers and a diverse range of activities. We invite our former and current staff, students, visitors and partners to celebrate this together with us. We aim to bring together our valuable ITC community, strengthening the family ties to our alumni and partners from all over the world.
In 1950 ITC came into existence. We are now more than seventy years active in the field of geo-information and earth observation. Our 70th birthday provides the chance for a festive moment to reflect on our past, present and future. Visit www.itc.nl/70years for more information.
Join us and celebrate our Dies Natalis
We have created an interesting programme to celebrate our 70th Dies Natalis. Three themes will be highlighted during this week:
- Bio-diversity and Food Security (Tuesday, October 26th)
- Geo-Health (Wednesday, October 27th)
- Hazard, Risk & Resilience (Thursday, October 28th)
Have look at our programme at a glance for an overview of the full programme.
Register now
We aim to have some on-site participation for all sessions. In order to join us at ITC, we require registration before the 18th of October. Unfortunately, registration for on-site registration does not guarantee you a spot. We would like to give everybody an equal chance to join us on-site, and will randomly select on-site participants from current ITC staff/students/visitors and other interested persons. Selected participants will be informed the week beforehand of their on-site participation. This is to ensure we can adequately optimize the number of on-site participants to the then-current corona regulations.
