Wageningen University, University of Groningen (RuG) and University of Twente strengthen their bonds with Wetsus, European centre of excellence for sustainable water technology. In the next four years, the three universities will together contribute € 750,000 annually, in addition to their existing in-kind contributions to our research program and their involvement in the Wetsus Academy MSc program. With their cash contribution, these universities support Wetsus in its transition to long term financing.
Alongside this contribution, NWO (Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy provide transition funding for the coming years, allowing Wetsus to adequately prepare for long term financing from 2023 onwards.
