Nine innovative nanotechnology companies receive NanoLabNL- voucher New start-ups given access to advanced clean room facilities for the fifth time

NanoLabNL – a partnership involving research institutions in the field of nanotechnology infrastructure – has issued vouchers to enable new industrial users to access the NanoLabNL facilities for the fifth time.

The vouchers, which are worth €7,500 each, provide between 50 and 75 hours of independent use of the facilities (including training and/or advice). The vouchers will be awarded to nine commercial ventures, such as new business start-ups and young companies that are building their businesses on the basis of research results. The vouchers will entitle the companies to become familiar with the clean room facilities at NanoLabNL and encourage further activity in the future.

Recipients of NanoLabNL vouchers

Of all the voucher requests submitted, NanoLabNL selected the following nine companies:

1. NanoPHAB – which will use the NanoLab@TU/e (TU Eindhoven)

2. Quantified Air – which will use the Kavli NanoLab Delft (TU Delft)

3. Levitech BV – which will use the NanoLab@TU/e (TU Eindhoven)

4. Bijlard International – which will use the Kavli NanoLab Delft (TU Delft)

5. LipoCoat B.V. – which will use the MESA+ NanoLab Twente (University of Twente)

6. Sensolution – which will use the MESA+ NanoLab Twente (University of Twente)

7. Vycap BV – which will use the MESA+ NanoLab Twente (University of Twente)

8. SENTRON Europe B.V. – which will use the Zernike NanoLab Groningen (Groningen University) and the MESA+ NanoLab Twente (University of Twente)

9. PureAgribusiness B.V. – which will use the MESA+ NanoLab Twente (University of Twente)

None of these companies have previously used the facilities of NanoLabNL, and all of them submitted a request that was both technically feasible and could be achieved independently using the facilities available. The companies will begin using the NanoLabNL facilities in the near future.
