This week it is announced that prof. dr. Ellen Giebels, Full Professor of Social Psychology of Conflict and Safety, received the prestigious Rubin Award.
The Rubin Award is co-sponsored by the International Association of Conflict Management (IACM) and the Harvard program on Negotiation. The Rubin award is a bi-annual reward that highlights scientists with a strong research profile who are able to apply this knowledge to complex societal problems. Ellen Giebels is the first recipient of the Rubin Award from outside North-America. She will receive the award officially this summer during the IACM-conference in South Africa, where also Nobel laureate Ms. Leymah Gbowee will be speaker.
