Do you want to contribute to the new educational model? Working on the vision of activism on the University of Twente? Do you have ideas about internationalization at the UT? Would you like to have your say on the design of the campus? Then the Student Union Board is something for you! We are looking for new board members for the period from March 2012 until February 2013!
The Student Union is an independent student organization at the University of Twente. As board members we are responsible for many student affairs at the UT, for example sports, culture, the Kick-In and student entrepreneurship. The opportunities the Student Union has due to her position at the UT are great. So there are many (wild) plans for the future. As a board member you interact with various groups of the university, ranging from student societies to the Executive Board.
At the moment we are working on a number of major projects whose outcome will determine the next ten years or even longer. The Student Union provides students participation in the new educational model and also participates in the discussion herself. Together with the UT, a vision is written about activism. On this basis, a new arrangement for the division of the graduation support will be designed. In 2014 the UT aspires to 35% international students. How can these students integrate in the best possible way? In the area of Sports & Culture there must be many structural cuts in the coming years. How can this be achieved and also maintain a good offer for students?

On Tuesday 20 December there is a special lunch in the Vestingbar, Bastille at 12.30. Here you can obtain more information about a year in the board of the Student Union and talk with current board members and some previous board members. You can enter by sending an email to office@union.utwente.nl. This presentation will be in Dutch.
