Mirjam Bult reappointed as vice-chair of the Executive Board

As of 1 September 2019, the Supervisory Board has reappointed Dr. Mirjam Bult as vice-chair of the Executive Board of the University of Twente. This appointment is for a period of four years.

The Supervisory Board greatly appreciates the way in which Mirjam Bult has fulfilled her role in the recent years. During the conversations of the Supervisory Board with several parties within the university, it became clear that Mirjam is widely experienced as very approachable and professional. Also thanks to her human governance style and her extensive dossier knowledge, Mirjam forms a binding force within the board of the UT.

The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of the UT are very content with the reappointment of Mirjam Bult. Anton Schaaf, Chair of the Supervisory Board, says the following: “Mirjam performs her task with great dedication and professionalism and she has shown good results in the recent period. There is a great appreciation for her human governance style. We are pleased to keep her for the university.”

Mirjam Bult herself about her reappointment: “I am proud of the UT and the confidence given in me, I will cherish this. Because of this timing, I can now contribute to the formation of the new UT strategy, by also paying attention to the way we work and how we interact. I want to commit to shaping our ambitions as well as creating space for the organization.”
