On Thursday the 19th of April the official BMS LAB Grand opening took place. With over 400 m2 facilities, the lab provides the equipment to realize innovative education and research.
Various research setups are possible in the lab rooms in Cubicus and the Designlab and a lot of high-quality (measuring) equipment can be borrowed for experiments. The lab team also advises researchers and offers calculation capacity and software solutions.
The lab was officially opened by Victor van der Chijs and Ellen Giebels in a very crowded student lounge in Cubicus. After several researchers and students first shared their lab experiences with the audience, Victor and Ellen used a drone to cut the cord. The program continued with demonstrations in the various lab rooms.
