Are you interested in joining the master’s programme in Industrial Engineering and Management?
Depending on your educational background, you may have to complete a 15-30 European Credit pre-master’s programme before being admitted to the Master’s programme.
The pre-master's programme is a transfer and bridging programme in which you will gain the knowledge and skills needed for successful participation in the master’s programme. They also give you a firm foundation in the research methods and statistical analysis you will need to conduct independent research as part of your Master’s.
The pre-master’s programme gives a preview of the level of the master's, so if you do well in the pre-master's programme you are also likely to be able to successfully complete the master's programme.
You can take the pre-master’s after completing your bachelor’s degree, or during your bachelor’s studies.
If you are a student with a technical program from a Research University and you are admitted to one of the premaster programs, you have to take up to 15 EC of courses.
If you are a student with a technical study program from a University of Applied Science or a student with a Social Science Program from a Research University and you are admitted to one of the premaster programs, then you have to take up to 30 EC of courses. The premaster courses depend on the chosen specialization. Here you find the premaster's programmes per specialization.
The pre-master's programme is offered once a year starting in September.
Pre-master’s programmes must be completed within 12 months. You will be given two opportunities to sit the exams for each course.
The pre-master’s programme in Industrial Engineering and Management is taught in English.

Disregarding your previous programme, you always need Mathematics B and English at pre-university level if you want to apply for the master's Industrial Engineering and Management.
