Master's thesis

You will complete your Master’s in Business Administration by writing your master’s thesis. Many of the graduation theses our students work on come directly from international businesses, either in the Netherlands or abroad. You can even choose to do part of your thesis abroad, just like many of our students have already done. This is a great way to gain first-hand experience of cross-cultural differences.

Your master's thesis could involve investigating questions such as:
  • What is the difference between Dutch and Polish culinary cultures and what does that mean for the online platform usage and perception of the TakeAway app?
  • How do green and inclusive leadership behaviours contribute to teamwork dynamics and team performance?
  • How does an effective manager’s leadership style differ across organisational Industry 4.0 adoption maturity stages?

The choice of your thesis topic is largely up to you. Many students tap into our cutting-edge research programmes. However, there is plenty of room to propose an idea of your own and to align that with ongoing research at the faculty. Some examples of subjects you could focus on include change management and organisational behaviour, cross-cultural differences, strategic growth, leadership styles or sustainable development strategies. The possibilities are nearly endless!
