Study association Stress

Get support in choosing a master’s

We encourage you to lead an active student life by becoming a member of the study association.

With over 2200 members, Stress is the largest (study) association at the UT. Its primary goal is to look after the interests of all students involved in the Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Engineering & Management and (International) Business Administration.

Activities and events

Study association Stress organises various activities and events to support, expand and complement the study and career development of its members. Everything is included, from study sessions and international trips to collaborations with companies, parties, and excursions. Besides, you can buy your study books at a discount at Stress and make use of their summaries and tutor platform.

Stress has six pillars, which greatly enhance your time as a student: General, Study, Meet, Practice, Develop and International.

Community

All in all, Stress provides you with a community. You are welcome in the association room any time to get free coffee, tea or lemonade and relax on the couches and play some games with other members during the breaks or between lectures. If you want you can also work in the Stress room, there are a few monitors which are available for our members to use. The Stress room is located in the Ravelijn (building 10). The board is happy to help you with any questions or problems you might have.

DEVELOP YOUR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

At UT, we train you to be the global citizen of tomorrow. Education alone is not enough, being active both in and outside of the classroom boosts your personal development. Our students regularly organise exciting activities and events on campus and in the nearby city of Enschede. They learn to collaborate with students and professionals from other disciplines and from different backgrounds. These experiences are invaluable in helping students develop useful skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
