Have you decided to sign up for the Bachelor’s programme Chemical Science & Engineering at the University of Twente? First, sign up via Studielink. Check the admission requirements below to be sure that your application will succeed.
What diploma did you get?
Level of English
As the programme is entirely English-taught, you have to meet the English language requirement. You need to upload the required documents as proof of your English language proficiency, before the application deadline. If you hold a Dutch VWO-diploma, then you meet the language proficiency requirements. Check the language requirement here.
Good knowledge of exact science subjects
Mathematics is the language of engineers. Our experience shows that students who are good at exact sciences, like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (with grades 7 or higher), have a greater chance of success in the Chemical Science & Engineering (CSE) programme than those who have difficulty with these subjects. This does not mean that you are not allowed to register if your science grades are below 7, but please keep in mind that CSE is a challenging course, certainly in the area of the sciences.
