BigBlueButton At the University of Twente, teachers can use BigBlueButton to host virtual classroom sessions. BigBlueButton includes live video and audio streaming and an interactive whiteboard set-up. You can also share slides and documents, start a poll, use break-out rooms to group students for team collaboration or give demonstrations of applications by sharing your screen.
Buddycheck Buddycheck is a simple to set up and use peer evaluation tool which allows students to evaluate each team member’s performance in a group activity, as well as perform a self-assessment.
Camtasia Camtasia is a software suite for creating and recording video tutorials and presentations directly via screencast. Audio or other multimedia recordings may be recorded at the same time or added separately from another source.
Edubadges An Edubadge is a secure, electronically issued digital certification of skill and/or competence awarded by a verified issuing organization, like a university. Each Edubadge is linked to a new institution-wide identity, eduID, which continues to maintain its validity after a learner has graduated.
Eduflow Eduflow is a tool that facilitates (peer) feedback on an educational product, such as a report, presentation or poster.
Evasys EvaSys is the UT survey tool. It generates paper and online surveys, and a variety of reports about the results. It is in use for the central SEQ (Student Experience Questionnaire). You can also use this tool for other surveys.
Explain Everything Explain Everything is an easy-to-use design, screencasting, and interactive whiteboard tool.
FutureLearn The University of Twente has partnered with FutureLearn to deliver Massive Open Online Courses. We see online courses as a means to show our unique capabilities and expertise for a worldwide audience. Joining a course on the Futurelearn platform is very straightforward and is free of charge.
Microsoft Teams Microsoft Teams is a powerful application that can be used to create collaborative workspaces. Within Microsoft Teams, educators can quickly communicate or meet with students, share files and websites, create a shared notebook, or even conduct live video lectures.
H5P H5P, short for HTML5 Package, is a plug-in for Canvas and other learning management systems. It offers teaching staff the option of building their own media-rich learning elements and adding them to their Canvas pages. H5P is based on open-source web standards. The community has developed a large library with different interaction types available, ranging from short fill-in exercises to videos with question-and-answer interaction.
Khan Academy Khan Academy offers content varying from Math or Computing to Science & Engineering. The content exists of small (pencast style) videos that explain specific concepts in a clear way. You can use Khan Academy content in your Canvas course by embedding URLs of Khan Academy videos.
Lightboard A lightboard is a glass chalkboard pumped full of light, which can be used to record video lecture topics. You face toward your viewers, and your writing glows in front of you.
Microlecture A microlecture is a format that can be used to record short and powerful video lectures in the professional (DIY) video studio at UT.

TA.Help-me TA-help.me is a tool that can be used to organize student tutorials in a more effective way. Students write down questions they have during a tutorial in a digital que, so they don't need to raise hands anymore.
