Mentimeter Mentimeter is a voting or polling tool that makes teaching more interactive by letting students actively participate in lectures. Students give their input using mobile phone, laptops or tablets. Currently a pilot project.
Canvas Canvas is the primary Learning Management System at the University of Twente. It is in use for all courses in our Bachelor and Master programmes.
BlueJeans video meeting BlueJeans for video meetings, for more than 50 users. This solution is not accesible from within Canvas.

Classroom of the Future The Classroom of the Future is located at the Designlab. It is particularly suited for encouraging group work and active learning. The remarkable, uneven setup of the classroom has a positive effect on multiple processes.
Evasys EvaSys is the UT survey tool. It generates paper and online surveys, and a variety of reports about the results. It is in use for the central SEQ (Student Experience Questionnaire). You can also use this tool for other surveys.
Explain Everything Explain Everything is an easy-to-use design, screencasting, and interactive whiteboard tool.
Futurelearn (MOOC) The University of Twente has partnered with Futurelearn to deliver MOOC’s. We see online course as a means to show our unique capabilities and expertise for a worldwide audience.
Microlecture Create a professional microlecture (or any other format) in a studio at the University of Twente. You will be supported by the TELT team in writing a proper script. You can find advice by means of job aids after the click.
Pencasts Pencasts can be seen as a type of video. Pencasts can be used when your main content consists of drawings or formulas. You can use new technologies like smartpens, iPads or Wacom graphical tablets.
Portfolio The digital portfolio is a system that can be used to collect evidence on the achieved learning goals. It can also be used as a distributor for feedback from lecturers and students.
Screencasts A screencast is a video recording of what is visible on a computer screen. The screencast can contain a PowerPoint slideshow, but it can also be a demonstration of a software program or a video.
ShakeSpeak ShakeSpeak is a voting tool that can be used during lectures to interact with your students. During your lecture you can invite your audience to respond using their mobile phones or laptops.
Trello Trello is an intuitive web application which can be used for many purposes. It's use is free of charge. Trello works with boards which can be used to share materials or use as a project planning.
WebPA WebPA is a solution which can be used for peer feedback on group processes. NO more free riders in your course!
