Remove old login credentials on websites

Introduction 

Some browsers will show your employee number (e.g. m7654321) instead of your e-mail address when logging in to sites. This manual will show you how to delete the saved credentials.

Before you start

  • In this manual, you will often be required to perform actions. For these actions, a consistent style of writing has been used: references to text and buttons on screens are printed in italics, information that you have to enter yourself is printed in bold.
  • Internet Explorer
    1. Open the Tools menu
    2. Select Internet Options
    3. Select the Content tab.
    4. Under AutoComplete, click Settings
    5. Click on Manage Passwords
    6. Select Web Credentials
    7. Click on the drop down arrow by the website you want to remove the password
    8. Click on Remove
  • Edge
    1. Open Settings and more
    2. Select Settings
    3. Click Passwords & autofill
    4. Under Passwords, click Manage passwords
    5. Hover over the website you want to delete and click the x to remove
  • Chrome
    1. Click Profile
    2. Select Passwords
    3. To the right of the website, click More (3 dots) and select Remove
  • Firefox
    1. Click Menu
    2. Click Logins and Passwords
    3. Select the website you want to remove and click Remove
  • Safari
    1. Open the Safari menu
    2. Click Preferences
    3. Select the Passwords tab
    4. Select the website you want to remove and click Remove twice

To add pages outside the Service Portal, use the Add custom bookmark button above. Add your favorite apps to your bookmarks by using the favorite button
