Study association Dimensie

We encourage you to lead an active student life, by becoming a member of the study association.

S.A. Dimensie is the study association for Psychology at the University of Twente. Its primary goal is to offer students room for personal development and support within and outside their studies. Educational activities such as lectures, excursions, and symposia are combined with social events to inflict extracurricular learning experiences but also to bring students into contact outside of classes in a more informal way. You can find Dimensie in the Rubix, its association room in the Cubicus building on campus.

Why should I join?

  • Dimensie organises a lot of fun activities, both social and educational. You can join excursions and city trips, lunch lectures, parties, and game nights. Some highlight events are the annual Gala, the Eurotrip and the Career Week.
  • You can make new friends by becoming an active member of one of the several committees. This also looks good on your resume!
  • As a member of the association, you can get study books and summaries at a nice discount. Joining Dimensie saves you money.
  • You are more than welcome to spend time in Dimensie’s association room and enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea.

Our students regularly organise exciting activities and events on campus and in the nearby city of Enschede. They learn to collaborate with students and professionals from other disciplines and from different backgrounds. These experiences are invaluable in helping students develop useful skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
