Study association Komma

We encourage you to lead an active student life, by becoming a member of the study association, for instance.

Komma is the student and alumni association for the Master’s in Educational Science & Technology (EST) at the University of Twente. They aim to enrich the educational experience of EST students and support their professional development before and after graduation. Komma organises many stimulating events and activities for members such as e-learning workshops, expert speakers on interesting educational topics, exciting company visits, and social evenings with delicious meals. As it’s a student-run association, you can also contribute to the operations of Komma and sharpen your professional skills. You can find them at the Komma Room in the Ravelijn building, RA1324.

Why should I join?

  • Free admission to all Komma events.
  • Build and strengthen your network in the field of education and learning.
  • Gain access to the Komma job board.
  • Apply for grants from the Komma Development Fund to attend conferences and supplemental educational courses.

Develop your entrepreneurial spirit

At UT, we train you to be the global citizen of tomorrow. Education alone is not enough, being active both in and outside of the classroom boosts your personal development. Our students regularly organise exciting activities and events on campus and in the nearby city of Enschede. They learn to collaborate with students and professionals from other disciplines and from different backgrounds. These experiences are invaluable in helping students develop useful skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
