  • Required diplomas or knowledge

    A Bachelor of Science in a related field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology or an equivalent qualification, including knowledge of the following topics:

    • Computer Science: Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Organisation/Architecture, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases, Algorithms and Data Structures;
    • Mathematics: Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Probability, Statistics and Linear Algebra;
    • Research Projects on topics in Computer Science.

Can you follow this master's with your previous education?

In all cases, the admission committee will conduct an individual assessment procedure to determine if you have sufficient basic qualifications in computer science. So, if you have completed another programme of which you hesitate if it is enough related, you can still apply for admission.

Didn't graduate yet?

You may be granted conditional acceptance based on your transcripts, detailed curriculum information, relevant research and expected graduation date. To finally be enrolled in the (Pre-)Master's, you do need to submit your bachelor's degree, once you have obtained this. You can also start your application when you have obtained a bachelor's or master's degree at UT in the past. 

Need to follow a pre-master's first?

You don't need to sign up for the Pre-Master's itself. You apply by signing up for this Master's. UT will alter this to a pre-master's registration, if applicable.
