We encourage you to lead an active student life, by becoming a member of the study association.
I.C.T.S.V. Inter-Actief, or simply Inter-Actief, is the study association for the Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Information Technology and Computer Science. Located in the Educafé, you can find the association room of Inter-Actief on the balcony behind the Starbucks. The various committees organise all kinds of activities and make sure your studies are going as smoothly as possible. Inter-Actief is run entirely by students for students!
Why should I join?
- At Inter-Actief, you can join many fun activities, ranging from themed drinks and weekend-long LAN parties to study evenings with pizza and interesting workshops. What better way to wind down and meet with your fellow students?
- Inter-Actief provides educational support to students in many ways. Do you have some issues during your studies? Inter-Actief can help you out as it is in close contact with the university staff and professors.
- Get your study books through Inter-Actief at a nice discount!
- You can come by and get your free coffee or tea while studying. And on almost all Tuesdays during the lunch break, Inter-Actief hosts an interesting lunch lecture by experts from various companies. You can listen and participate while enjoying a free lunch.
- You can become ‘active’ yourself at Inter-Actief by joining one of the many committees. This is something nice you can add to your resume, but way more important: it’s a light-hearted way to get to know more students and organise fun activities yourself!
Develop your entrepreneurial spirit
At UT, we train you to be the global citizen of tomorrow. Education alone is not enough, being active both in and outside of the classroom boosts your personal development. Our students regularly organise exciting activities and events on campus and in the nearby city of Enschede. They learn to collaborate with students and professionals from other disciplines and from different backgrounds. These experiences are invaluable in helping students develop useful skills that will serve them well in their future careers.
