Extend your knowledge and skills within the field of Purchasing and Supply Management at the Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland.
As a student of the Master’s in BA, with the specialisation in Purchasing & Supply Management, you have the opportunity to follow a double degree, that we offer together with our partner university, the Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland. In this two-year programme, you will extend your specialised knowledge within the field of PSM. Upon completion, you will receive two Master’s degrees:
- Master of Science in Business Administration, specialisation in Purchasing & Supply Management (UT)
- Master of Science in Supply Management (LUT)
Structure
The double degree programme entails a total of two years (four semesters) and you can only start this programme in September. You will spend the first semester at the University of Twente and then continue the second and third semester in Finland. You will eventually finish your fourth semester at UT again, writing your master’s thesis.
Courses
Alongside the courses belonging to the specialisation in PSM, you will follow courses in Finland, such as Supplier Development and Relationship Management, Managing Service Business in Supply Chain, Risk Management in Supply Chain and External Resource Management.
You will end your double degree programme by writing your master’s thesis. You will do this under the joint supervision of professors from both universities. You will defend your final thesis at the University of Twente.

If you are interested in following this double degree programme, you first apply for the Master’s in Business Administration at UT (make sure to check if you are admissible!). Once you are a student of this Master’s, you can apply for the double degree programme. Please note that the number of students who can opt for this double degree is limited. Selection is based on your study progress and motivation.
