You will be eligible for admission to the Bachelor’s programme Creative technology at the University of Twente if you have one of the following qualifications:
- a Dutch vwo diploma (no specific profile requirements);
- a Dutch hbo Bachelor’s diploma;
- an international diploma equivalent to one of the above.
The entire Creative Technology programme is English-taught. If you have a vwo or hbo diploma, then you comply with our language proficiency requirements. If you are a student with an international diploma, we advise you to contact the Admission Office of the University of Twente as early as you can. The Admission Office will then determine whether you meet the admission requirements for the Bachelor’s programme in Creative Technology.
If your secondary education is not comparable to a Dutch vwo diploma, and you would nevertheless like to apply for our Bachelor’s programme Creative Technology, the University of Twente and the Holland International Study Center offer you the possibility of taking a foundation year, after which you will be admissible to Creative Technology.
Made your choice? To start the admission procedure please register as an applicant in Studielink.
At the University of Twente, we organize matching activities for prospective students. Participation in these activities is mandatory for Creative Technology applicants (the matching activities are a kind of intake procedure). Applicants who do not participate will not be enrolled. The matching activities take approximately half a day, and take place on the university campus. International students may attend the matching activities or participate in a Skype interview. Click here for more information.
Admission procedure, participation in matching activities
In response to your registration in Studielink as a Creative Technology applicant you will receive an email from the University Admission Office which explains how to proceed. Click here for more information.
The deadline for registration in Studielink is 1 May 2016. If you miss the registration deadline of 1 May, the Creative Technology programme may still accept your application if your participation in the required matching activities can still be arranged, and other applicable deadlines (e.g. for visas and housing for international students) are met. However, you will no longer be eligible for admission if you register after 30 June 2016.
