Introduction

From 1 September 2025, the University of Twente will use Crowdtech as the central platform for conducting surveys. Crowdtech offers a secure and efficient way to distribute questionnaires. All data and processing take place in the Netherlands. The platform is suitable for course evaluations (SEQs), research-related questionnaires and other UT-wide surveys – and is accessible to both staff and students.

Crowdtech Survey supports education, research and services, and aligns with the UT’s strategic direction: greater uniformity, collaboration and quality in the way we work.

This page provides an overview of training sessions, demos and frequently asked questions.
Please note: after August 2025, existing systems will be phased out. For more information, contact the relevant system administrator.

Do you have any questions about how Crowdtech works? Check out their Guide: guide.crowdtech.com.

Demo resources

The following template surveys have been made available as a training resource. You can download them using the links below, then import the surveys into Crowdtech. This will allow you to test out advanced functions, both as a participant and survey owner.

What does this mean for you?

  • These survey tools will be available until the following dates:

    o   Evasys: October 2025
    o   LimeSurvey: December 2025
    o   Maptionnaire: May 2026
    o   Qualtrics: October 2026

  • These tools are not specific survey tools, and will not be phased out.

  • Please contact survey-support@utwente.nl so you can start getting all the benefits of the new UT-wide tool Crowdtech as well.

📤 To help us prepare, please upload your questionnaire in advance via the link in the registration form.

📌 Check the ‘Training and demo sessions’ chapter for upcoming dates. If you have any questions contact survey-support@utwente.nl.
