Virtual Workplace (Horizon)

Language:

For employees - Windows / MacOS / Linux

Horizon is a virtual environment which can be opened via a browser or the horizon client. Horizon allows you to use software without installing it on your computer.

Use Horizon

You can open the Horizon environment via your browser on all devices.
Open Horizon
Using it for the first time, you can choose whether you want to continue working in the browser (called the HTML option), or whether you install Horizon as a program on your computer (VMware Horizon client). A download link is available. Client installation is preferred.

Tips

  • If you use a Modern workplace, you can open the Group Manager application via Horizon.
  • It may happen that an application is available both on your own computer and on Horizon. Once you have installed and opened Horizon, you may be asked which of the two versions you want to use. We advise to use the versionĀ on your own computer. This works faster.
