Business integrity is the third pillar of UT's House of Integrity
and covers the regulations and procedures we have at the University of Twente and the extent to which we comply with them. Information security and ethics in operational management are key elements in this field. At the University of Twente, we encourage a culture in which dilemmas can be discussed openly and safely. We work to achieve accessibility and clarity in regulations and procedures. Business integrity is also about governance, risk and compliance (GRC). This is a collection of processes and practices across a range of departments and positions that facilitate reliable delivery of an organisation’s objectives. Uncertainties can be addressed through GRC. All this helps us as an institution to act with integrity.
