For employees
Each UT employee has access to SURFfilesender, provided by SURF (Samenwerkende Universiteiten Reken Faciliteiten). SURFfilesender can be used to send large files, e.g. research data.
Specifications
- Uses cloud storage (SURF (NL)). A processing agreement has been entered into with SURF, meaning the environment is GDPR proof;
- Uploads are stored for a maximum of 21 days;
- Accessible via de web browser;
- Data can be made available to any person based on their email address;
- Files up to 2GB (encrypted) and 1TB (unencrypted) can be sent;
- Uploads and corresponding info can be viewed.
