- Medical servicesThe UT offers some medical services for employees. Some of them are free services. Examples: medical fitness, chair massage, dietitian, etc. For details see www.utwente.nl/sport > Medical services. The physiotherapy consultation by Topvorm Twente (fysiotherapie) is also available in the sports centre (for everybody).
- Sport accomodations, availability and reservationsThe sports centre of the University of Twente is the main place on Campus for Sports. Indoor sports Almost all kind of indoor sports can be practiced in the Sports Centre, there are 4 large sporthalls and 2 smaller grouplesson halls, also a fitness centre and an indoor pool can be used for sports. A complete overview of the indoor locations can be found here. Outoor Sports Around the Sports Centre the outdoor facilities can be found. The outdoor facilities include, among others, Football fields, Hockey fields, Lacrosse fields and Tennis courts. A complete overview can be found here. If you want to make use of the facilities, you do need (at least) a basic subscription for sports. For students this is the UnionCard and for employees/external customers this is a CampusCard. For some of our facilities it is necessary to make a reservation, more info can be found here
- Sports centre bar/canteenThe sports canteen in the Sports Centre of the University of Twente is in general open 7 days every week, it is open for UT members and visitors. The sports associations are responsible for the bar shifts. - Sports centre: information deskThe Servicedesk of the Sports Centre is available for all sport related questions, purchase of subscriptions/products. If you want to buy an UnionCard subscription, you can also do this at the Sports Centre. Opening hours are available on the website of the sports centre.
- Sports overview: associations, courses and individual sportsThe Sports Centre of the University of Twente offers a variety of Sports for students, employees and external customers. With more than 50 sports associations there are a lot of options for joining an association. In the fitness centre and with the offer of grouplessons and courses, it is possible to train individually. If you want to make use of a hall for free sports, for instance playing badminton with a friend, you can do this if a hall is available. - Unioncard/campuscard for students, employees and othersFor employees: activate your CampusCard for free! Activate now The CampusCard is the card for sport and culture on Campus! In addition to work and study at the University of Twente, there is a wide variety of sports and cultural activities for CampusCard holders. There are more than 37 sports clubs and 19 cultural associations, a full gym, a variety of group lessons, sports courses and cultural performances. You also need to have a CampusCard if you want to become a member of at least one of the associations, also the CampusCard is your first basic subscription. You will need the CampusCard for other subscriptions like swimming and fitness. - UT Swimming schoolThe UT Swimming School is located in the UT Sports Centre and offers mainly courses for children. The UT Swimming school is located in the indoor pool of the Sports Centre. More information is available via www.utwente.nl/utzwemschool (only in Dutch).
