- Spin-off dealtermsSeveral aspects play a role in the success of a university spin-off. One of those are uniform and transparent deal terms when it comes to Intellectual Property Rights and shares in the spin-off. That’s why the University of Twente uses the National IP Deal Term Principles of the Universities of the Netherlands (UNL). These were formulated by a project team of the Dutch universities together with several investors and entrepreneurs and which were benchmarked against international best practices.
