Finale 4TU.Health poster competitionOn Thursday 23 March, three prizes were awarded during the finale of the digital 4TU.Health poster competition. This poster competition is part of the 4TU.Health collaboration. PhD students in the field of health and technology were challenged to present their research in an open, engaging way. All participants were given the opportunity to briefly present their posters and view other posters. The winning PhD student may use the prize to visit another TU or conduct research together with another TU. This is the first year that this PhD competition is being organized within 4TU.Health.Read more
UT to develop artificial placenta system in EU projectYearly, around two million neonatal deaths occur worldwide. In many cases, the deaths occur due to fatal lung failure sometimes combined with kidney failure. Together with partners from academia and industry from the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Ireland and Canada, TechMed researchers Jutta Arens and Dimitrios Stamatialis aim to develop a novel artificial placenta system, the ArtPlac. To do so, they have been awarded an EIC Pathfinder grant.Read more
