In most cases, it is possible to change your programme during the academic year or to do a second programme. If you intend to do this, always first contact the study advisor of the programme you want to follow and then sign up with the form you find here.
Exceptions
Switching during the year or following an extra programme is not possible in all cases. If you want to switch to a bachelor's programme with a selection and placement procedure (Psychology, Technical Computer Science and Technische Geneeskunde), this is only possible at the start of the academic year and you must participate in the selection procedure. These programmes have a very tight deadline of 15 January that also applies to switchers. So if you want to switch to one of these programmes, this can only be done by registering for the desired programme via Studielink before 15 January.
Also for the bachelor's programmes with mandatory matching (Creative Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Technology), switching during the academic year is not possible. Here too, you must register in time via Studielink to be able to start on 1 September. Check the website for a complete overview of deadlines.
If you still have doubts about whether you want to switch, sign up before the deadline to be sure. Cancelling is still possible until 1 September.
