I wanted to study the Master’s in Environmental & Energy Management to contribute to a more sustainable world and it turned out to be a valuable year. The year was full of interesting talks with classmates from all over the world, case-studies on technical and social issues concerning the environment, and learning research methodologies.
Combining knowledge
I recently started working as a junior energy consultant at CFP Green Buildings. Here I can really make a difference in the immense world of real estate. Between my studies and that job, I worked for a while at a start-up in clean-tech and experienced that I liked contact with (potential) customers. In my current job, technical and social issues come together. I help building owners find the best solutions for energy savings in buildings. I am happy to contribute in this job by combining my technical background in Creative Technology with energy management knowledge.
