Courses in Business Administration at LUT

Some courses that are given at the LUT are Risk Management in Supply Chain and External Resource Management. The courses are aligned with the programme at the UT. Besides courses from the PSM section, it also required me to follow a minor in Finland. I will follow a minor in International Marketing, but you could also choose a different minor, such as Strategy and Innovation. The main focus of the LUT is on sustainability. Sustainability is part of almost all courses.

Experiencing Life at LUT and in Lappeenranta

My experience is very positive, the university is located in a very beautiful place. Walking over the frozen water of Lake Saimaa in the winter and in the summer a place to watch the sunset. The weather in the winter is cold, but with the right clothing, you will manage. Where the summer is relatively warm and sunny and the days are very long. Furthermore, there are several organised trips to join for example to Lapland or Lofoten (Norway).

City Life and Culture in Lappeenranta

Lappeenranta is not a world city, but a city big enough where everything is you need. The Finnish people love their sauna and dipping in ice-cold water during sauna time. At last, Finnish people are very passionate about their study guilds. Wearing overalls with a lot of badges and organising different events.

Facilities and Student Life in Finland

I would also recommend studying in Finland because a lot of aspects besides the study are very well organised. For example, housing, lunch, and sports are relatively cheap and well-arranged.
