stakeholder map
|
Introduction
Map out possible stakeholders: people and organisations that have influence on or are impacted by a societal challenge.
How it works
- Who are the key actors (human-non human) that are involved in the societal challenge?
Who has the most influence? Who is affected the most? - Start individually: write out all possible stakeholders on post-its. Be as specific as possible, and think of the quintuple helix (see picture below).
- Then discuss the stakeholders as a group and place them on the stakeholder map. The more centered, the more influential or influenced a certain actor is.

Next step(s)
Invite representatives of the most important stakeholders to join the project. If it is hard to find them, try to retrieve their perspectives and input (for example: by interviewing them) and use these for the next steps of the project. You can also use the stakeholder cards.
