SBD-Grants Office assists you in your pursuit of a Vidi Grant and starts this spring with their support for anyone interested in submitting in 2022.
Vidi grant
The Vidi grant is an instrument of the Talent Line of NWO. The main features are:
- Individual grant for bottom-up research plans.
- For talented researchers with an innovative research idea and a competitive CV,
- who have finished their PhD (max. 8 years on 1 October 2022, extensions may apply).
- Requires an ‘embedding guarantee’ of your faculty.
Support Programme
The support programme of the UT for the Vidi consists of 3 communal sessions and individual support for the Vidi candidate. The sessions will give you strategic and practical input for developing a competitive Vidi project and writing a convincing proposal, increasing their chances to receive this prestigious grant. Tips & tricks and best practices will be presented.
Dates:
The first two sessions will take place on:
21 April 9:30 to 11:30 (online)
10 May 13:00 to 17:00 (on-campus)
The third session will take place in June, but the date needs to be finalized.
WHO
All researchers with PhD dates between 1 October 2014 and 1 October 2018 who aspire for a personal Vidi grant, and plan writing one for round 2022 (extensions may apply depending on personal circumstances).

Registration is mandatory to join the training!
