Many media reports in the media show us that there is a kind of pandemic of stress and low well-being among students and the general population as well. But what is well-being and what is it good for? If we 'just treat each other normally', as one teacher once proposed as his 'solution' to low wellbeing among students, can't we just be happy in our work and personal lives?
In this lecture, Dr. Ed de Bruin will discuss what well-being is, what can go wrong and right with it, and what we can do to support or improve well-being.
