Swikar Bhandari attending the International Working Conference on Requirements Engineering

Swikar Bhandari had the opportunity to attend the REFSQ International Working Conference on Requirements Engineering: Foundation for Software Quality conference in Barcelona, Spain, where this year’s special theme focused on Social Responsibility.

🎀 At the conference, Swikar Bhandari presented his research on "Actionable open-source intelligence architecture for cold case investigations." This interdisciplinary project aims to design a socio-technical system that leverages open-source information to generate actionable intelligence, supporting law enforcement in solving cold cases β€” a meaningful contribution toward social good.

πŸ’‘ The conference proved to be an inspiring platform, filled with thought-provoking keynotes, engaging workshops, and valuable discussions. Swikar Bhandari is especially grateful for the insightful feedback received from Requirements Engineering (RE) experts, which will help shape the next phase of his research.

πŸ™ Special thanks to the Data Management and Biometrics (DMB) – University of Twente, the Technologies for Criminal Investigations Research Group at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, and CVD - Centrum voor Veiligheid en Digitalisering for their ongoing support throughout this research journey.
