New PhD candidate joining DMB

Exciting Announcement

The DMB group is pleased to welcome Akash Ramakrishnan as a new PhD candidate! He will be conducting research on Multimodal Machine Learning for Social Interaction Analysis under the supervision of Estefanía Talavera.

Akash recently completed his Master’s degree at the University of Twente, where he specialized in Computer Vision and Biometrics. His Master’s thesis, carried out within the DMB group, focused on Skin Lesion Analysis.

He is excited to continue his academic journey with the group and looks forward to contributing to cutting-edge research and collaborating with the team.
