Students with a Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences (HBO) do not directly fulfill all the admission requirements. In order to start a master's programme you first need to do a pre-master's programme to bring your knowledge up to the required level.
Admission to the (pre)Master’s programme depends on your Bachelor’s programme. The following programmes related to Sustainable Engineering are admissible:
- Chemical Engineering
- Applied Physics
- Mechanical Engineering
- Engineering, Design and Innovation
If you have completed a Hbo programme that is listed among the related programmes, you can apply for admission. In case you have another bachelor degree the admission committee will conduct an individual assessment procedure to determine if you have sufficient basic qualifications to start the premaster Sustainable Energy Technology.
Because the master's programme of Sustainable Energy Technology is taught in English and a profound level in Mathematics is indispensable, it is recommended that you freshen or brush up your knowledge of English and Mathematics before starting with the premasterprogramme. Additional courses can be taken at, for example, Babel and Boswell Bèta or the Open Universiteit.
