Master's thesis

You will complete your Master’s by writing your master’s thesis. The choice of your graduation subject is largely up to you. You could come up with your own proposal, or you could connect with ongoing research in areas such as persuasive interaction design, remote monitoring, human-centred design and co-creation, eHealth implementation, et cetera. You can complete (part of) your graduation project at an external organisation as well. This is a great way for you to combine your academic skills with hands-on experience!

Your master’s thesis could involve undertaking projects such as:
  • Researching the added value of Virtual Reality in the treatment of forensic psychiatric patients.
  • Exploring the feasibility of implementing and using the Pinktrainer app – an app for physical activity of breast cancer patients – during breast cancer treatment.
  • Testing the usability of a new eHealth Monitoring Technology for older adults with cognitive impairments and their (in)formal caregivers.
