master's thesis

You will complete your Master’s by writing your master’s thesis. The choice of your graduation subject is largely up to you. You could come up with your own proposal, or you could connect with ongoing research at UT. You could, for example, be dealing with the issue of decentralisation in the Dutch municipal health service, or you could conduct research into the pros and cons of the Electronic Patient Dossier (EPD). You can complete (part of) your graduation project at an external organisation as well. This is a great way for you to combine your academic skills with hands-on experience!

Your master’s thesis could involve undertaking projects such as:
  • How can public management of large-scale health crises be improved?
  • In what ways can patient organisations contribute to secondary healthcare prevention in chronic diseases?
  • How effective are current information interventions aimed at bonding between parents and child in the first 1,000 days after conception and how can interventions be improved?
