Students with a Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences (HBO) do not directly fulfill all the admission requirements. In order to start a master's programme you first need to do a pre-Master's programme to bring your knowledge up to the required level.
Admission to the pre-Master’s programme depends on your Bachelor’s programme. The following programmes related to Civil Engineering and Management are admissible:
- Civiele Techniek
- Bouwtechnische Bedrijfskunde
- Land en Watermanagement
- Build Environment
If you have completed a HBO programme that is not listed among the related programmes, you can also apply for admission. In that case, the admission committee will conduct an individual assessment procedure to determine if you have sufficient basic qualifications in Civil Engineering and Management.
Because the Master's programme of Civil Engineering and Management is taught in English and a profound level in Mathematics is indispensable, it is recommended that you freshen or brush up your knowledge of English and Mathematics before starting with the transferprogramme. Additional courses can be taken at, for example, Babel and Boswell Bèta or the Open Universiteit.
