International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) Join the Conference online (29th & 30th September 2020)

ICUR is a two-day, 48 hour international and interdisciplinary undergraduate conference.  The Conference is hosted by Monash University and the University of Warwick and connects undergraduate researchers in the United States, England, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia, France and Canada to present their research to a virtual audience from around the world.

Join the International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) on September 29th and 30th 2020 as a virtual audience member to experience some of the best interdisciplinary undergraduate research from around the world. No matter which time zone you live in, you will have access to any panel that is taking place while you are logged in to the mobile App or desktop version.

This year both audience and presenters will join the conference virtually through the new ICUR App, where anyone, anywhere in the world can watch, participate, interact, vote and ask questions of virtual poster and spoken panel presentations without leaving their home.

Keynote Speakers

This year ICUR will host keynote speaker Helen Keen, the award-winning performer and popular-science writer, you may have heard her distinctive voice on the BBC show It Is Rocket Science where she has an innovative and quirky approach to translating scientific research to a broader audience. Opening the conference are our two opening speakers Dr. Brian Martin Monash Art, Design and Architectures inaugural Associate Dean, Indigenous and current Monash undergraduate student Simone Pianko, founder of the Borrow Cup sustainability initiative that has taken Monash Clayton campus by storm.

Alumni Panel

ICUR will also be hosting an Alumni Panel featuring past ICUR presenters and student leaders from Monash University, University of Warwick and Nanyang Technological University. The alumni will discuss how they translated the skills and experiences they gained from ICUR into real world opportunities, answering questions and passing along tips to current undergraduate researchers with a focus on employability.
