On 1 October, the ATLAS programme (University College Twente) hosted an event at the DesignLab, where four experts shared their experience in design and research initiatives related to COVID-19. Inspired by these real-world initiatives, ATLAS students will be working on specific design projects related to the pandemic.
Bridging the gap
Their objective is to bridge the gap between knowledge and societal needs, in order to enhance the quality of life of different stakeholders that have been impacted by the COVID-19. By the end of the semester, students will showcase their designs in a challenge-setting, where the experts and representatives of the ATLAS and the DesignLab community will assess them in order to choose a winner.
