University College Twente (ATLAS)

University College twente (UCT) is the international honours college of the University of Twente and offers the bachelor's programme in Technology and Liberal Arts & Sciences.

We offer the Bachelor’s programme in Technology and Liberal Arts and Sciences, or ATLAS for short. Traditionally, engineering (or technology) is not part of Liberal Arts and Sciences curricula. At University College Twente we firmly believe it should be. In order to understand today’s world, you have to understand technology. And solving today’s problems means you have to have design skills. Therefore, our bachelor's programme focuses on science, mathematics, engineering and social sciences.

Studying at University College Twente

Our aim is to provide an inspiring educational setting, in which students can work hard to get the most out of their study experience. The residential setting in which all students live and work together, our inspiring academic staff and the small-scale, international classes and project groups all contribute to creating a truly student-centered environment for both academic and personal growth.

The Academic Programme (Technology and Liberal Arts & Sciences)

The ATLAS-programme is a three-year Liberal Arts and Sciences programme taught entirely in English. It's a unique honours programme for talented students, bringing technology and society together. Our unique approach to engineering education is aimed at raising a new and different kind of engineer and global citizen. Read more about the academic programme
