A study conducted by Maastricht University and University College Maastricht suggests that university college education, often perceived as lacking job prospects, actually provides students with higher scores in skills required for employment compared to traditional bachelor's programs.
The study surveyed 558 participants and found that university college students excelled in areas such as creativity and initiative, contributing positively to their career prospects. The research challenges the notion that university college graduates face unemployment despite their academic excellence. However, both university college and traditional bachelor's programs showed limited impact on the skill of lifelong learning.
