The Best Paper Award of WWIC 2009 was awarded to Cristina Cano, Boris Bellalta, Jaume Barceló, and Anna Sfairopoulou from Universitat Pompeu Fabra for their paper entitled “A Novel MAC Protocol for Event-Based Wireless Sensor Networks: Improving the Collective QoS”.
