Mark your calendars for 27 June 2024, and join us for an engaging and informative day at TechMed Research Day, hosted at the TechMed Centre. This full-day program promises inspiring presentations from talented researchers affiliated with the TechMed Centre research institute.
One of the highlights of the event will be the opportunity to discover groundbreaking research projects being conducted by your colleagues from various departments. We invite all TechMed departments to play an integral part in the program by sharing their latest findings. This is a unique chance to learn from each other and foster collaboration within the vibrant TechMed community.
THE PROGRAMME
- Keynote talk by Dr.ir. Abeje Y. Mersha, Professor SAxion University of Applied Sciences.
- More than 40 informative posters. You can freely roam around here, as well as participate in a poster-guided tour (this time with fewer posters per tour, and more time allocated for poster presentations).
- Oral presentations by young researchers.
- Sufficient space to meet each other and explore possible collaborations and exchange experiences.
- A cosy atmosphere with lunch, drinks, and break times.
- A combination of substantive lectures and informal activities.
Scientific programme
The TechMed Research Day is organized by and for researchers from the University of Twente who are engaged in medical technology research programs. The program includes a variety of poster presentations, oral presentations, and sandpit presentations. Although this is a free event, keep in mind that registration for this event is not obligation-free. We count on your participation to reserve drinks and food during the program. On Thursday 15 June 2023, the TechMed Centre organised its second Research Day in the TechMed Centre of the University of Twente. Scientific Director Prof. Dr Maroeska Rovers about this day: “I enjoyed our Research Day. We aim to facilitate interdisciplinary research and education, so it was nice to see so much young talent from all our faculties. This is a unique chance to learn from each other and to foster collaboration within the vibrant TechMed community.”
